As a special sneak peek for our blog followers, I wanted to post some pictures of the Navajo Churro fleeces which are about ready to get listed on etsy. Be sure to keep checking back for the announcement that they've gone on sale, as well as another instalment of the "Fiber Feature" segment on the Navajo Churro breed.
I hope all of our Canadian readers are enjoying the beautiful day out! I've taken this morning to get caught up on updating the etsy store with a variety of new colorways and ecru rovings. Of special note is the great deal we are currently offering on our alpaca/silk mixes! If you've ever wanted to try spinning alpaca, take advantage of this opportunity to try out a new fiber. :)
Stay tuned for another breed feature in the upcoming weeks! (As a sneak peek, I can tell you it is going to be Shetland!)
It's Labor Day weekend and I just finished updating the etsy store for Sheepish Creations with lots of yummy roving! Use the (super creative) code LABORDAY for 10% off through Monday, Sept 4 for savings on kots of hand dyed roving, as well as ecru fiber, yarn, and dye!
We are so excited to finally have everything ready to go with the website! This is by far the biggest discount we've ever offered! Be sure to take advantage of the great deals you can get on fiber, yarn, and Jacquard dyes.
With the discount, a jar of dye can cost as little as $2.71. That's a screaming deal that we absolutely won't be able to offer again. :) Please let us know if you run into any issues with the checkout system. We've given it a good test run, but it is still new to us.
I've been hard at work adding all of our ecru fiber and acid dye offerings to the site. I am now please to announce that you can purchase these things directly from the Sheepish website! Although some things are still a work in progress, be sure to check out all the fibers that we have already added, and make sure to check back for new additions in the coming weeks!
Although there are many glamourous parts of running Sheepish Creations, editing photos and listing new items certainly is not one of them! My usual routine is to head to my favorite coffee shop (Barriques) , get a warm drink and a seat by the fire, open up Photoshop and go to town!
Today though, I got an extra special surprise when I ordered my usual mocha. Look at that gorgeous heart in the foam! Certainly made my day. :)
Anyways, I've got some pretty exciting colorways in the pipeline for our upcoming updates -- lots of Spring-inspired merino, as well as some luscious BFL/silk blends, and of course, more silk hankies! Silk it one of my favorite warm-weather fibers to work with because it stays some cool against the skin, even in the hottest of weather.
